Presentation

I feel like I totally bombed my presentation. I had all of these ideas in my head but when I got up there, my mind went blank. I have trouble with public speaking. I didn't go into as much detail about the book like I wanted to, to make sure everyone got a sense of what it is about. I also kind of rushed through the lesson plan. Everyone else that's went so far has done an excellent job.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

So I've finally sort of figured out how to write a rationale. I think I did it right. But I'm having a little trouble with the Lesson plan. I've never taken a teaching class before so I don't really know what I'm doing. Also, I've only recently figured out what I want to teach so I'm still having a little difficulty coming up with an actual lesson rather than the general idea I have in my head. But nevertheless I am excited about the novel I chose. I never read it before so I was a little worried that I wouldn't like it. But there are great lesson that could be taught from this novel. Although I'm pretty sure this novel would never be approved in an actual school. Maybe I could get by with some excerpts though.
